What started out as a very cold morning has blossomed into a sunny, mild February afternoon. The temperature soared to plus 8 Celsius and ice and snow started to quickly disappear. Not particularly good for anyone wanting to snowmobile or go for a skate on the lake but hey, it’s all good. (I wasn’t going snowmobiling or skating)
Quite a bit of water on the ice this afternoon.
A little bit of ice breaking over the shoreline rocks.
Late afternoon resulted in a beautiful blue sky and clouds, perhaps the calm before a rainstorm forecast for later tonight.
