Here we are, already the fifth of January and the lake is still wide open, lots of water flowing, (albeit cold water). Considering last night the temperature was down around minus 15C I think we are doing pretty well so far this winter. I hope I didn’t just jinx things…
At a current minus 7C and winds from the North it is a good day to be inside with the wood stove fire burning.
I am trying to teach Remi to fetch firewood.
Ice is slowly catching on in the cove.
