A beautiful winter day here in Nova Scotia. Sunshine, light winds and minus 4 temperatures made it a lovely day to go for a walk. Of course Remi was up for that, nothing like a walk in the snow to put a smile on your poodle’s face. In this case that smile included some snow….
The frozen lake has a nice coating of fresh snow on it providing a beautiful bright day.
Some little critter tracks in the snow.
Country roads take me home to the place I belong…(channeling John Denver)
The ice works in mysterious ways, for example an open hole along the shore.
The lake is cracking and booming tonight, I wrote a post about lake sounds last year but you can still read it here: Sounds of a Frozen Lake
C’mon in the water’s fine!!
I love to watch the clouds over the lake.
