Home For Bats

If you like bats, but not in your belfry, or in our case, your cottage or camp, it’s a good idea to have a bat house on your property. Contrary to popular belief, bats are good to have around. They do a marvellous job of eating mosquitos and other flying insects, making your outdoor experience even better.

You can build a bat house, or you can buy one already built, like this Woodlink NABAT Audubon Bat ShelterBat Feeders)

This unobrusive bat shelter will be a safe place for your resident bats, keeping them comfortable, safe and hopefully out of your camp attic.

  1. Up on the hard to do a lot of work this winter. Anybody ever made a ‘roof’ over their boat? I don’t want to go all the way to the ground, but I do want to be able to stand or nearly stand up. 37′ on deck, 10′-6″ beam. This is in the PNW and wet is a larger concern than wind. I looked online and found this with 20% off http://boatcovers.bestdealsoffer.com
