Cottage Chronicles Roundup

Hey Cottagers! After several months of posting the Cottage Chronicles I think it might be time for a ’roundup’ of some of our previous posts, especially for the benefit of you newbies to The Cottage Chronicles.

Over the last year we have had a ball writing about the cottage and some of the experiences we’ve had with over 40 years of cottage living under our belts. Cottages are a lifestyle, no question about it, and if you are serious about being a cottager you have to realize that. They aren’t places you own and visit occasionally, they are places you think about constantly, and want to go to every free minute you have. Why? I can’t say for sure, for a man, I would say it has an appeal to me like that of a woman, I can’t get enough of it. For a woman…well…who knows?

So, on with the roundup!! Back in October of 06 I wrote a short information piece to help new cottagers learn to winterized their cottage. You can find it here Shutting Off The Water

It was no time and I was dreaming about the outhouse over the long winter so in January I came up with the Pleasures Of An Outhouse

I must have been pissed off at the neighbors in February because I was writing abou them, I don’t remember if I said nice things or not…Cottage Neighbors

I don’t think it was related to the neighbor thing, but I was writing about Composting in March. I followed that up with a short post about Getting Rid Of Mice

Then in April I put you all on the Cottager’s Physical Fitness Workout Plan

I was also getting ready for the growing season in April with my posts about Cottage Gardens

And because someone wrote to say I was full of s_ _t I came up with an enthralling, informative post about Cottage Septic Systems

There were lots more posts in between these ones, black bears, deer, squirrels, hats, aluminum boats and other stuff, but the above are a few that stood out for me. I am too lazy to list all the other ones, you can find them in the previous posts in the sidebar if you are so inclined.

Thanks for reading The Cottage Chronicles!!
